Why, hello there! The idea for this shoot was birthed out of a need to have more family photos in the Hook household. By more, I mean, they had never had professional photos taken! I was pumped to serve them and give them some memories to look back on as well. 

 

     I've known the Hook family for years and years. Tony was actually one of my high school youth pastors way back in the day! He also officiated my wedding AND walked me down the aisle. Needless-to-say, this family has been walking with me for a long time. I'm forever grateful for the love they've shown Raphael and me.

 

     Truth be told, I've never actually done family portraits before -- it was DEFINITELY a learning experience and it was completely different from shooting couples. The kids were super sweet and my amazing stellar husband was there to help me pose them and keep everyone laughing. Praise The Lord for him! haha 

 

     All-in-all, the day was really fun and I would be down to photograph more families in the future. I truly hope you enjoy these photos -- my favorite ones are candid, the kids clinging onto one another and mom and dad laughing because they either feel awkward or they're enjoying their kids. I'll think I'll take the ladder on this one!
