I've always loved dynamic photos. Pictures that move you emotionally and capture the essence of the person being photographed -- it seems like I'm seeing that style of photography more & more these days! (Which is totally awesome, by the way!) Traditional "Prom" poses are going out the window -- I want to capture the real, silly, intimate moments you crave. Perfection isn't the end goal and neither are a handful of photos. I want you to have moments to look back on - I want you to remember your spouse throwing you over his shoulder, laughing as he twirls you around. I want you to be transported back in time when you look at your photos, not cringing with regret and putting them back in the shoe box under your bed. This is the time to look back on!

Hey there, friend, chances are you, too, have fallen into the comparison trap. I'm right here with you. With so many stunning engagement and wedding photos popping up on social media, it's easy to look at yourself and doubt the amazing beauty that is you. My goal as your photographer is not only to help you feel comfortable in front of a camera but also help you to let go and be your amazing self. It's scary standing in front of a lens, with a complete stranger, while a shutter goes off, while also trying not to look like you're getting your mug shots done. Yikes! Here's what I propose: We'll meet prior to your session and chat. I love getting together for coffee and talking about weddings, life, and what's in your heart. Then, on the day of your shoot, I'll put on some music, step away for a bit, and let you and your love have your time together. This is about YOU. These are the photos that you will cherish for a lifetime. As a little girl, I loved looking through my grandparent's wedding photos -- imagine your grandchildren and great-grandchildren shuffling through your engagement and wedding pictures. I guarantee you'll be able to tell them some pretty incredible stories about the memories you carry so close to your heart.
